Summary:Obtained is a circuit breaker controller for an electrically powered train enabling a circuit to be reliably broken before a rail car enters a dead section, while also preventing the rail car from being stopped by a broken circuit when passing through the dead section. A circuit breaker controller (100) is mounted on individual cars of an electrically powered train along with a receiver (13) for detecting a ground-side element installed at a predetermined position upstream or downstream from a dead section, and a circuit breaker (10) provided between a main circuit device and a current collector is controlled by the ground-side element being detected by the receiver (13).
