The invention discloses a preparation method of a PVDC (polyvinyl dichloride) composition for a carbon molecular sieve. The preparation method comprises the following steps of adding 160-165 parts (in parts by weight) of deionized water, 0.07-0.35 part of a dispersing agent, 0.2-0.5 part of an initiator, 0.04-0.25 part of a pH buffer regulator, 70-100 parts of a vinylidene chloride monomer and 0.05-0.25 part of nano filler into a polymerization kettle; ending polymerization reaction after carrying out polymerization reaction for 8-15 hours at 45-65 DEG C under stirring; removing residual monomers in vacuum, cooling and discharging, centrifuging, and drying to obtain the PVDC composition for the carbon molecular sieve. The preparation method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simple process and good performance of prepared products.
