The present invention is a film for forming a decoration which has a laminate structure including a coloured layer, a protective layer and a substrate film in succession or including a substrate film in between a coloured layer and a protective layer. The purpose of the invention is to provide a film for forming a decoration which exhibits good shape-tracking performance with respect to an article to be decorated having a complex shape such as a deeply drawn shape and less occurrence of surface irregularity even in parts having high stretch ratio, wherein the fracture elongation of the substrate film and protective layer at 120 DEG C is 200% or greater, the coloured layer at least comprises a binder resin and a radiant material having an average length of 5 to 12 [mu]m, and the stress upon 100% elongation of the coloured layer at 120 DEG C is 4 MPa or less.
