Summary:The embodiment of the invention discloses a video screen editing method and device. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a screenshot instruction sent by a user, and capturing a target screen in a target video file, so as to obtain a capturing result; starting an image editing program, and displaying the capturing result in an editing interface of the image editing program; generating an editing result according to editing operation of the user to the editing result. According to the technical scheme, the target screen in the target video file can be captured after the screenshot instruction of the user is received, and the image editing program can be started to edit the target screen captured by the user. Compared with the prior art, the method and the device have the advantages that the operation of the user is simplified, and the user experience is enhanced.
