Summary:The invention discloses a high temperature abrasion resisting carbon-nitrogen alloying coating sprayed by electric arc and a preparation method of the coating. The coating comprises the following elements by weight percent: 0.10-0.80% of carbon, 0.10-0.70% of silicon, 0.85-2.00% of manganese, 2.50-4.50% of nickel, 1.00-2.50% of boron, 12.00-20.00% of chrome, 0.05-0.35% of niobium, 0.15-1.00% of titanium, 0.05-0.45% of vanadium, 0.02-0.30% of nitrogen, 0.03-0.18% of rare earth cerium, and the balance of iron. The coating is well formed, has a homogeneous texture and compact structure, and has the porosity not more than 3.0%; the high temperature abrasion resisting carbon-nitrogen alloying coating sprayed by the electric arc has the microhardness average value of 568HV0.1, the highest microhardness average value reaches 593HV0.1; the bonding strength of the coating reaches 48.2MPa; the abrasion resistance of the coating is 1.60 times that of 4Cr13 steel.
