A determination device is coupled with the receiving device, and determines optimal speed of the vehicle based on driving speed of the vehicle, where the optimal speed of the vehicle is checked with information of the free driving for the track section. A transmission device (65) is connected with a detection device (60), and the receiving device is connected with an antenna (35). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for determining optimal speed at detected position (2) a computer program product with program code units for executing a method for determining optimal speed at detected position.
