Summary:A curved display apparatus (1) includes a curved display panel (10), a curved rear housing (60) disposed at a rear of the display panel (10) such that the curved rear housing (60) is spaced apart from the display panel (10), and a plurality of backlight units (20) disposed at opposite inner sides of the rear housing (60) to irradiate light to the rear housing (60). The inside of the rear housing (60) reflects the light irradiated from the backlight units (20) to the display panel (10). Consequently, a light guide plate may be omitted from the display apparatus (1).
