The artificial turf is characterized in that the roots of the hey yarns are fixedly connected with the foundation layer through glue, the foundation layer and a piece of the base fabric are compounded and glued into an integral structure, and the roots of the hey yarns are flattened to be a flat structure. According to the artificial turf, the use amount of glue is less, the pull-out strength of hey yarns is enhanced, the drying time is short, the production site is reduced, and the raw materials and energy resources can be saved. The artificial turf is high in strength, thin for the glue layer, light in weight, low in cost, convenient to pave, and long in service life.
