Summary:The invention discloses a method for separating ferrous ions in a stannous solution, which comprises the following steps: contacting an extractant with the stannous solution, and separating the extractant from the stannous solution. The method is characterized in that the extractant is triheptyl amine; and the hydrogen chloride concentration in the stannous solution is at least 140 g/L. The method can be used for directly extracting and separating the ferrous ions from the stannous solution; the extraction rate can reach more than 98.7%, and the extraction rate of stannous ions can be kept low (even down to less than 0.65%); and the extractant can be recyclable, so the cost is lower.
