Summary:The embodiment of the invention provides a message transmission method and device. The method comprises the steps that when queues enter a non-idle state, a server judges whether the sizes of tokens in a token bucket are larger than or equal to the threshold values of the queues, wherein the token bucket comprises threshold values corresponding to at least two queues respectively, and the threshold value of the queue with higher priority in the at least two queues is smaller than the threshold value corresponding to the queue with lower priority; if yes, the server outputs the messages of the queues by the token bucket, updates the sizes of the tokens in the token bucket and subtracts the sizes of the messages from the sizes of the tokens in the token bucket; if not, the server does not output the messages in the queues.
