Summary: | The invention discloses a terminal signal strength self-correcting WIFI (wireless fidelity) positioning method based on cumulative probability distribution. The method includes the steps: firstly, dividing a fingerprint database into a plurality of grids to form a gridded structure, and calculating cumulative probability distribution of RSS (received signal strength) of all WIFI hot spots inside each grid; secondly, receiving and analyzing a positioning request of a positioning terminal, creating a cumulative probability distribution function Fr of the grid corresponding to the positioning terminal in the fingerprint database, and creating a cumulative probability distribution function Fu of the positioning terminal; thirdly, correcting the RSS of the positioning terminal by the aid of the cumulative probability distribution function of the positioning terminal. Each cumulative probability distribution function indicates the sum of the occurrence probability of all RSS values smaller than or equal to x. |
