The invention belongs to the technical field of plastic modification, and especially relates to a low-temperature-resistant reinforced modified PP composite material and a preparation method thereof. The PP composite material is composed of the following compositions in percent by mass: 25%-40% of homopolymerized PP, 30%-49% of copolymerized PP, 15%-25% of talcum powder, 10%-20% of a cold-resistant agent and the balance processing auxiliary agents which comprise an anti-oxidant, a lubricant and/or a coupling agent. The preparation method comprises blending, extrusion and granulation. The composite material provided by the invention is capable of possessing good toughness under a low-temperature condition and satisfies the usage requirements of PP composite materials at a relatively low temperature.
