The invention discloses a generating set maintenance method. The generating set maintenance method comprises: establishing an economic performance indicator system of a generating set; calculating a fuzzy comparison matrix of each indicator in the economic performance indicator system; according to each fuzzy comparison matrix, calculating the weight of each indicator in the economic performance indicator system; calculating the single-factor evaluation value of each indicator in the economic performance indicator system; according to the weight and the single-factor evaluation value of each indicator, calculating the performance grade of the generating set; and according to the calculated performance grade, executing corresponding maintenance operation on the generating set.
