Summary: | A locking differential comprises a gearbox casing, a half shaft gear, an actuator and a shaft collar. The gearbox casing comprises a central axis and a concave part, and the half shaft gear is designed to rotate around the central axis. The half shaft gear comprises a locking component which extends outwards in the radial direction, and the locking component comprises half shaft gear sections which are separated by a plurality of grooves. The actuator encircles the central axis. The shaft collar is designed to move transversely in a bothway mode along the central axis.
