Provided is a color filter substrate manufacturing method which may prevent a color mixture between adjacent pixels even when an inkjet method is used and prevent flickering when used for TV display. The color filter substrate manufacturing method of the present invention comprises a first inkjet process in which inks are discharged at the same time for at least two areas among a plurality of areas separated by a grid-shaped partition wall; and a second inkjet process in which an ink is discharged for at least one area where the inks were not discharged during the first inkjet process. At least one of the inks discharged during the first inkjet process is a first ink not discharged to any adjacent area in horizontal and longitudinal directions. At least one of the inks other than the inks discharged during the first inkjet process is a second ink discharged to one adjacent area in a horizontal or longitudinal direction.
