Summary:The present invention relates to an aqueous polyester-polyurethane dispersion comprising a polyester resin, a basic neutralizing agent and water. The invention further relates to a process for the production of these dispersions and to their use. It has been found that by using succinic acid in the formation of the polyester polyol and dimethylol butyric acid in the formation of the polyester-polyurethane no further organic co-solvents such as NMP are necessary to form stable and useful aqueous polymer dispersions.
