Summary: | The invention discloses an air dry type transformer with a triphase ferric-core and a diphase winding through a VI connection process. The transformer is used for generating a diphase power supply, and powers either a diphase load or a uniphase load. The transformer comprises a ferric core, a body insulator, a high voltage winding, a low voltage winding, high and low voltage leads, a nameplate and a temperature controller, wherein the ferric core is a triphase three-column ferric core, the phases A and C of the high voltage winding adopt a V connection process, and the phase a and c of the low voltage winding adopt an I serial connection process; the V connection process is an opening triangular connection process formed by removing a phase B winding in high voltage triangular connection, and the I connection process is the connection of two phases of windings of the low-voltage winding.
