The invention discloses an acaricidal composition containing pyriminostrobin and etoxazole and a use thereof. Active components of the acaricidal composition comprise pyriminostrobin as a first active component and etoxazole as a second active component. A weight ratio of the first active component to the second active component is in a range of 1:7 to 10: 1. The acaricidal composition can be processed into an agriculture acceptable suspending agent, wettable powder, water dispersible granules or a dispersible oil suspending agent. The acaricidal composition has a reasonable formula and good acaricidal effects. The activity and the acaricidal effects of the acaricidal composition are superior to simply superposed activity and acaricidal effects of all the components. Compared with single-component preparations, the acaricidal composition has obvious acaricidal effects, produces obvious synergism, has good crop safety and satisfies pesticide preparation safety requirements.
