The tobacco leaf slitting judgment method comprises the steps as follows: selecting a tobacco leaf with the leaf length of 45-50 cm, uniformly dividing the tobacco leaf into fourteen sections, detecting related physicochemical indexes, performing main ingredient analysis to obtain the comprehensive scores of the tobacco leaf sections, and analyzing the comprehensive cores of the tobacco leaf sections by the optimal segmentation method to obtain the number of optimal tobacco leaf slitting sections and slitting sites. The slitting judgment method is scientific, reasonable and simple to operate; the differences of the physicochemical indexes and the sensory qualities of the tobacco leaf sections are remarkable after the tobacco leaf is slit; and the method can be suitable for processing in different conditions.
