A sliding type tripod constant velocity joint comprising: an outer ring provided with three rolling grooves; a tripod provided with a boss and three triangular frame shaft parts; an intermediate member swinging relatively on the outer periphery of one of the triangular frame shaft part and provided with a power transmission surface; a plurality of rolling elements; and a cage supporting the rolling element to circulate on the outer periphery of the intermediate component.
