Summary: | The invention discloses a crosslinked vinyl acetate-acrylic emulsion for a digital color inkjet ink-absorbing coating and a preparation method thereof. The crosslinked vinyl acetate-acrylic emulsion is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 15-28 parts of vinyl acetate, 3.1-12.4 parts of acrylic monomer, 0.9-9.3 parts of methacrylic monomer, 0.03-1.5 parts of crosslinking monomer, 0.3-1.5 parts of emulsifier, 1.5-3 parts of protective adhesive, 0.03-0.3 part of initiator, 0.03-0.3 part of pH regulator and the balance of water, totaling 100 parts. Compared with the prior art, the vinyl acetate-acrylic emulsion has greatly higher stability; and when the vinyl acetate-acrylic emulsion independently forms a film, the vinyl acetate-acrylic emulsion film has the advantages of high transparency, high toughness, high shock resistance and excellent water resistance.
