Summary:The invention discloses a method for modification of a lithium ion battery anode material. The method comprises the following steps of 1, mixing an organic acid and an alcohol into an organic solution, 2, adding an anode material into the organic solution and carrying out mixing to obtain a suspension liquid, 3, carrying out centrifugal separation and carrying out washing by an alcohol solvent, and 4, carrying out drying. The anode material is a Ni-based metal-oxide anode material LiNixM1-xO2, wherein x is greater than or equal to 0.5 and is less than 1 and M represents one or two of Co, Mn, Al, Cr, Mg, Cu, Ti, Mg, Zn, Zr and V.
