The invention discloses a catfish feed composite additive which comprises the following ingredients in parts by weight: 10-25 parts of garlic powder, 5-15 parts of lactic acid bacteria powder, 5-15 parts of saccharomycetes powder, and 5-10 parts of spirulina powder, as well as Chinese herbal medicine additive, wherein the Chinese herbal medicine additive comprises the following ingredients in parts by weight: 10-30 parts of tangerine peel, 5-15 parts of hawthorn, 10-20 parts of allspice, 8-18 parts of cardamom, 10-18 parts of common andrographis herb, 6-18 parts of eleutherococcus senticosus and 5-20 parts of radix astragali. The composite additive can play a role in improving the digestive function of catfish, and the amylase and protease activity of gastrointestinal tract of the catfish can be remarkably promoted compared with a comparison group.
