Summary:The invention relates to a method for heating an interior (2) of a motor vehicle (1), wherein the motor vehicle has a fuel cell (3), a climate measuring device (5), by means of which a climate parameter of the interior (2) of the motor vehicle (1) is measured, and a heat transferring device (6) for transferring heat (31) that is generated by the fuel cell (3) to the interior (2) of the motor vehicle (1). The invention is characterized in that at least one operating parameter of the fuel cell (3) is set also according to the climate parameter of the interior (2) of the motor vehicle (1), wherein the rate of the heat (31) that is generated by the fuel cell (2) depends on the operating parameter.
