Summary:The invention relates to a simulation testing method and a simulation testing device for a photoelectric tracking system. Through a code automatic generating environment, a C code for implementing a tracking control algorithm is generated by a Simulink model of the tracking control algorithm and is downloaded into a controller of the photoelectric tracking system; a virtual scene of the photoelectric tracking system is simulated on a visual simulation computer and the required virtual scene is rendered in real time; and the visual simulation computer transmits target miss distance information in the virtual scene to the controller, the controller drives an execution mechanism of the photoelectric tracking system to track a target in the virtual scene according to the miss distance information and returns a visual axis posture of the photoelectric tracking system to the visual simulation computer, the visual simulation computer updates a posture of a viewpoint in the virtual scene according to the visual axis
