Summary:A lithium primary battery comprising positive electrodes (1) in each of which iron disulfide is used as a positive electrode active material, negative electrodes (2) in each of which a lithium alloy is used as a negative electrode active material, electrodes (4) in each of which the positive electrode (1) and the negative electrode (2) are wound through a separator (3), and a non-aqueous electrolytic solution, wherein the lithium alloy contains magnesium and/or tin in an amount of 0.02 to 0.2 mol%.
