Summary:A press-fit space (S) is formed between a hole end wall portion (9a1) of a stator core (9) and a closing end wall portion (11a1) of a stopper (11), which are axially opposed to each other in a press-fit hole (10) of the stator core. At least one of the hole end wall portion of the stator core and the closing end wall portion of the stopper, which are axially opposed to each other, has a recess that increases a volume of the press-fit space formed between the hole end wall portion of the stator core and the closing end wall portion of the stopper.
