Summary:The present invention relates to a fixing device and an image forming device, which can avoid fixing defects and prevent a fuser pad from falling down at the sate of being contacted with a reinforcing member even though the warm-up time or the first-print time is short at high processing speeds. A pressure roller 31 presses against the fuser pad 26 via a fixing belt 21 to form a fixing nip therebetween. The reinforcing member 23 is stationarily disposed in contact with the fuser pad 26 inside the loop of the fixing belt 21 for reinforcing the fuser pad 26. And then, the fuser pad 26 pressing against the reinforcing member 23 includes protruding portions 26a,26b spaced apart from each other in the conveyance direction and protruding toward the reinforcing member 23.
