The invention provides a production method of a resin button. After unsaturated polyester resin is subjected to thixotropy, flexible resin is added into part of the unsaturated polyester resin to change the characteristics of the part of the unsaturated polyester resin and enable the part of the unsaturated polyester resin to achieve a higher speed of adsorbing a dye, so that two types of unsaturated polyester resin for forming one button have different speeds of adsorbing the dye in the same time and finally, after the resin button is prepared by a casting process and subsequent processes, the resin button has different colored effects and obvious texture contrast and reaches a dyed texture effect of a natural fruit product. The invention further provides a resin button which is prepared by the production method of the resin button.
