The invention provides a method and device for shooting a panorama and an electronic device. The method includes the following steps: rotating a shooting device in a first direction, and simultaneously detecting rotating angles of the shooting device; recording the rotating angles of the shooting device in the first direction and controlling the shooting device to shoot a plurality of first images whenever the rotating angles exceed a preset threshold; and when the shooting device finishes rotating in the first direction, splicing the plurality of shot first images according to the recorded rotating angles in the first direction so as to generate the panorama in the first direction.
