The transparent conductive film comprises a transparent substrate or the transparent substrate and a polymer layer, wherein the polymer layer is arranged on the substrate; grid grooves are graphed on the surface of the substrate or the polymer layer; a conductive material is filled in the grid grooves to form inductive areas; leads are printed on the periphery of the inductive areas; and the leads are electrically connected with the conductive material in the grid grooves. In addition, the invention also provides a preparation method for the transparent conductive film. According to the transparent conductive film and the preparation method thereof, the conductive material is filled in the grooves to form the inductive areas, and the leads are electrically connected with the conductive material in the grooves, so that the yield of the leads of the transparent conductive film is relatively high.
