According to the invention, the method uses steering angles and steering angular velocity, and further obtains curvature information of front road, azimuth information among driveway and lateral displacement information relative to the lanes, and the determines whether the vehicle is moving straightly according to the above information. By using the above way, whether the vehicle is moving straightly can be accurately and rapidly determined, and then side-wind can be compensated.
