The invention discloses a connecting post for transformer bushings. The connecting post comprises a clamping part and a connecting part fixed to the clamping part. The clamping part is provided with a first through hole which is arranged in the vertical direction and allows for fitted insertion of a conducting rod of a transformer bushing. The connecting part is provided with a connecting end disposed in the horizontal direction. The connecting end is provided with a plurality of second through holes arranged in the vertical direction. The connecting post allows for horizontal lateral outgoing of wires and meets the requirement for lateral outgoing of wires of transformers in certain circumstances, the need of right angle bending for copper bars when the existing connecting post is used is avoided, labor is decreased, and the cost is lowered. In addition, connection height of the connecting part of the connecting post is equal to the height of the top of the conducting rod of the transformer bushing, and the
