Summary:The invention discloses a cold forging process of a high-strength skirt-type self-locking hexagonal screw cap, and the process is characterized by consisting of the following steps that sawing is carried out on a blank; a central hole is drilled in the end surface of a turned material section to control the length, and a sleeve-shaped screw cap body blank is formed; shot-blast is carried out on the blank with the hole; and molds are formed into the skirt of a short stud straight step adaption cone, the concave core lower end surface of the skirt and the hexagonal cap body by cold precision forging. The screw cap which is manufactured through the cold precision forging process has good shape consistency, the metal fibers of the screw cap are continuously distributed along the body, the density is good and the strength is high.
