Summary:The invention provides a manufacturing method of a glass formed body and a manufacturing method of an optical component using the same glass formed body, wherein glass types of low stability (easy to crystallize) or glass of high proportion and high index of refraction, etc., are adopted, the melted glass is enabled to flow into a casing mould continuously, and a glass raw material of high quality can be stably manufactured. In the method, the melted glass accumulated in a container flows downward through a glass outlet pipe connected with the container and flows out of an outlet of the outlet pipe and continuously flows in the casting mould configured under the outlet for forming, and then the glass formed body is taken out.
