Summary:Disclosed is a resin composite material that contains fine graphite particles, each of which comprises a plate-like graphite particle, an aromatic vinyl copolymer that is adsorbed on the plate-like graphite particle and contains a vinyl aromatic monomer unit that is represented by formula (1) below, and at least one hydrocarbon chain that is bonded to the aromatic vinyl copolymer and selected from the group consisting of alkyl chains, oligoolefin chains and polyolefin chains. -(CH2-CHX)- (1) (In formula (1), X represents a phenyl group, a naphthyl group, an anthracenyl group or a pyrenyl group, which may have a substituent).
