The invention discloses a new media service management system and an application method thereof. The system comprises an editing device and a final auditing device. The editing device is used for configuring a template file according to the category information of the new media content, and acquiring and editing the content uploaded by a third-party content platform, according to the template file; the final auditing device is used for obtaining the content edited by the editing device, auditing the obtained content, packaging the content, which passes through the audition, according to a categorization rule negotiated with a terminal application software, configuring a list editing parameter for the packaged content, and transmitting the list editing parameter and the packaged content to a play control system. By utilizing the system and method provided by the invention, the problem that new media service systems in related technologies are imperfect is solved, and the system performance is enhanced.
