The invention discloses a polishing plate. The polishing plate comprises a calcium carbonate stone substrate which is at least 5cm in thickness; a layer of vegetable oil thick in 0.5mm is coated on the surface of the calcium carbonate stone substrate; the surface of the calcium carbonate stone substrate is baked for at least 30 minutes at 250 DEG C, wherein the baking is kept to be carried out in a baking condition without oxygen or in a vacuum environment, and the baking is needed to be carried out until a vegetable permeating layer at least thick in 2mm is formed on the surface of the calcium carbonate stone substrate, and then a layer of paraffin oil at 80 DEG C is coated on the surface of the calcium carbonate stone substrate.
