Summary: | The invention discloses a method for cultivating brassica chinensis to bloom indoors with an LED light source and belongs to the field of biotechnology. The method comprises the following steps: after germination for 2-3 days, seeds of the brassica chinensis sprout white buds and then are sown in a nutrition pot which is 25 cm in height and 12 cm in width, wherein vermiculite and grass carbon as the substrate at the ratio of 1V:1V are loaded in the nutrition pot; and after 7-8 days, seed leaves are flattened, and the brassica chinensis seedlings are cultivated under a light-emitting diode (LED) with monochrome red light or blue-red combination light at the ratio of 2:7 for 90 days, and a light source with monochrome red light or blue-red combination light at the ratio of 2:7 is most suitable for brassica chinensis to bloom.
