Summary:The invention provides a coating substrate comprising a substrate with at least one surface, a first coating and a transparent semigloss second coating, wherein the first coating is arranged on the surface, the pigment volume concentration (PVC) of the first coating is higher than critical PVC; the second coating is arranged on the first coating; and the second coating contains 1-99wt% of 0.5-30 microns of particle polymers based on the weight of the second coating. The invention further provides a method for providing the coating substrate and a method for improving pollution resistance of the coating having PVC higher than the critical PVC.
