Summary:The flame retardant material comprises a matrix (50-65 mass%) comprising an organic polymer and 90 mass% of biopolymer, a flame retardant agent (35-60 mass%) consisting of metal hydroxide, a coupling agent (6-8 mass%) forming an interface between the matrix and the flame retardant agent, and additives and/or fillers. The coupling agent comprises a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate (60 mass%) grafted with maleic anhydride.
