The invention provides a data transmission method and device. The data transmission method comprises the following steps of: receiving a business signal, wherein the business signal carries a signal type and the signal type comprises a broadcasting signal or a data signal; a requirement of transmission of the broadcasting signal on a quality of service (QoS) is higher than that on the data signal; judging a signal type of the business signal; and if judging that the business signal is the broadcasting signal, loading the broadcasting signal to a transmission resource for transmitting the broadcasting signal and sending to all terminal modules so that the all terminal modules can respectively receive the broadcasting signal on the transmission resource for transmitting the broadcasting signal. A coaxial cable wideband is accessed to a network to realize low-delaying and shaking broadcasting transmission to bear a unidirectional broadcasting business, so that a uniform technical scheme and a network framework a
