Summary:An embodiment of the invention provides a power-saving display method for an electronic terminal, the electronic terminal and a mobile communication terminal. The power-saving display method includes displaying at least two windows on a display unit of the electronic terminal, wherein the at least two windows include one active window and at least one inactive window; when a preset condition is met, performing power-saving display, and reducing the brightness of all the inactive windows. The power-saving method for the electronic terminal, the electronic terminal and the mobile communication terminal have the advantages that power of the electronic terminal can be economized by partially lighting a display screen or reducing the display brightness of the inactive windows.
