Summary:Provided is a photoelectric converter that improves reliability by increasing the adhesion between a light-absorbing layer and an electrode layer, and that has high photoelectric conversion efficiency. The photoelectric converter is provided with an electrode layer (2), and a light-absorbing layer (3) that is disposed on the electrode layer (2) and contains a compound semiconductor. The light-absorbing layer (3) comprises a first layer (3A) located on the electrode layer (2) side, and a second layer (3B) disposed on the first layer (3A). The porosity of the first layer (3A) is less than the porosity of the second layer (3B).
