The invention discloses a method and a device for detecting a capacitive load electric energy meter. A standard electric energy meter is arranged and is provided with voltage contacts and current contacts of a three-phase power supply; the current contacts are connected with a pincer-shaped ampere meter; the device for detecting the capacitive load electric energy meter is further provided with a capacitance compensation device; and the capacitance compensation device is provided with three-phase contacts.
