Summary:The invention provides a method for determining the phosphorus content of silicon ferrovanadium. The method mainly includes the following steps: resolving silicon ferrovanadium by using nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid; volatilizing and removing silicon and getting rid of hydrofluoric acid in a sample by means of sulfuric acid smoking, and then enabling phosphorus in a silicon ferrovanadium test solution to form a yellow complex, namely bismuth phosphomolybdenum yellow, together with bismuth and ammonium molybdate in a sulfuric acid medium through preparing a color developing solution; reducing the bismuth phosphomolybdenum yellow to bismuth phosphomolybdenum blue by using ascorbic acid; measuring the absorbance of the color developing solution at 700 nm of a spectrophotometer; and calculating mass fraction of phosphorus in silicon ferrovanadium by using a formula according to phosphorus mass obtained through a drawn working curve.
