Summary:The invention discloses an AC/DC (alternating current/direct current) common-ground illumination drive circuit which is used for driving a luminous unit, receiving the external power through an input unit and converting the power through a conversion unit connected with the input unit to form switch power, wherein the output switch power drives the luminous unit through an output unit; and the reference potential of the luminous unit can be directly connected to the reference potential of the external power so as to avoid electric shock when a user directly touches the switch power of the luminous unit.
