Summary:The invention relates to a comprehensive design methodology of a planar four-bar linkage in mechanical design basis, in particular to a graphic method used for designing the planar four-bar linkage in an existing textbook named mechanical design basis and an analytical method in an existing textbook named mechanical principle, wherein the graphic method, namely drawing on paper with a pencil by proportion selection, is extremely low in problem solving precision, and the analytical method is precise but complex. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the existing methods, a method with the first part using the graphic method and the latter part using the analytical method is provided, and finally, a computer aided design AUTOCAD method is used for verification so that the method is extremely unmistakable. In order to achieve the purpose, three instances are given to explain the method after theory clarification according to the technical scheme.
