Summary:The invention relates to a connector with a locking mechanism. A cable connector (e.g. 30-pin connector) can be utilized to help to realize various relevant security functions and other functions. For instance, the connector comprises a security locking mechanism that is used for matching or locking the connector to a portable electronic apparatus. The connector can also support transmission of security signals, data signals and/or electric power signals. An unlocking tool can be used for disconnecting the connector that is locked to the portable electronic apparatus. Concretely, the unlocking tool can be applied to the connector and enables the locking mechanism of the connector to be released, so that the connector can be freely disconnected from the portable electronic apparatus.
