The invention provides a method for realizing simple video monitoring of a family intelligent television. The method comprises the following steps that (1) a video acquiring terminal is laid on a video acquiring site; the video acquiring terminal performs video coding on an acquired video image; meanwhile,, the video acquiring terminal also performs dynamic motion detection processing on the video image, and generates a control signal according to a processing result; and then, the video acquiring terminal transmits the coded video image and the control signal to the intelligent television; and (2) the intelligent television decodes the video image, and meanwhile, judges whether a monitored video image is displayed on a television screen according to the control signal.
